Terms of Service

Last updated 8 October 2026

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Clyent Softwares Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Rundown. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13026970) at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.

They apply when you use Rundown, including our website and desktop app (the "Service"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

By creating an account, installing the desktop app or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Epic Games

Rundown is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Epic Games, Inc. Fortnite and related names, marks and assets belong to Epic Games, Inc. Portions of the materials used are trademarks and/or copyrighted works of Epic Games, Inc. All rights reserved by Epic. This material is not official and is not endorsed by Epic.

2. Eligibility

2.1. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

2.2. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. They must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2.3. You must also be allowed to use the Service under the laws of the country where you live.

3. Your account

3.1. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it.

3.2. You may only have one account, and only for yourself. Don't share it, sell it or let anyone else use it.

3.3. Only connect third-party accounts that belong to you.

3.4. Tell us straight away at support@rundown.gg if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

4. The desktop app

4.1. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the desktop app on computers you own or control, for use with the Service.

4.2. The desktop app may update itself automatically.

5. Your replays

5.1. When you upload a replay, you keep whatever rights you have in it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process and analyse it to provide the Service. We can also combine data from it with data from other replays into aggregate statistics that don't identify you, and use and publish those statistics.

5.2. This licence lasts as long as we hold the replay. Aggregate statistics already produced can continue to be used after that.

5.3. Only upload replays from matches you played in or that you have permission to upload.

6. Price

Rundown is currently free. If we introduce paid features, additional terms will apply to them.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law, or help anyone else break it, using the Service
  • Use the Service to cheat in Fortnite, or in a way that breaks Epic Games' rules or tournament rules
  • Harass, stalk, threaten or dox anyone using information from the Service
  • Upload anything other than genuine Fortnite replay files, or upload files deliberately crafted to disrupt the Service
  • Access the Service through bots, scrapers or other automated means, except the official desktop app
  • Get around rate limits, security measures or access controls, or try to access data or accounts you're not authorised to access
  • Interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Copy, resell or redistribute data from the Service in bulk, or use it to build a competing product
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, except where the law allows this despite this restriction
  • Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection with anyone

8. Our intellectual property

8.1. We or our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and the Rundown name. These Terms don't give you any rights in them, other than the right to use the Service as these Terms allow.

8.2. You may share screenshots and links of your own match breakdowns and statistics, as long as you don't present them as official Epic Games material.

8.3. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we can use them freely without owing you anything.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on and links to third-party services, such as Epic Games. We're not responsible for those services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

10.1. We don't guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

10.2. The Service depends on Fortnite and Epic Games. Changes they make can break features, sometimes without warning, and we may not be able to restore them.

10.3. We may change, suspend or stop all or part of the Service. If we plan to stop the whole Service, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.

11. Suspension and termination

11.1. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11.2. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if we need to for legal reasons, or to protect the Service, other users or Epic Games.

11.3. When your account is closed, your right to use the Service ends. Sections 5.2, 8, 12, 13 and 15 continue to apply.

12. Our responsibility to you

12.1. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law. It also doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

12.2. The Service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we don't give any promises about it beyond those in these Terms, including about the accuracy of statistics and other information it provides.

12.3. We provide the Service for domestic and private use only. We're not liable to you for any loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

12.4. If you use the Service for business purposes, then, as far as the law allows, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to £100.

13. Disputes and governing law

13.1. If you have a problem with the Service, contact us first at support@rundown.gg. We'll try to resolve it informally.

13.2. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will decide any disputes. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

14.1. We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top.

14.2. If the changes are significant, we'll give you reasonable notice before they take effect, unless we need to make them sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don't agree to the changes, you can delete your account. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

15. General

15.1. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.

15.2. If a court decides that part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

15.3. If we don't enforce a right under these Terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.

15.4. We can transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example if our business is sold. We'll make sure this doesn't reduce your rights. You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else.

15.5. Nobody else has any rights under these Terms.
